Mirnavel Maldonado

Mirnavel "Mini" Maldonado, 65, of Staten Island, New York passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Sunday, December 11, 2022. She was born on August 16, 1957 to Domingo and Aurora Rodriguez.
Mini graduated from The College of Staten Island as a lab technician. She enjoyed spending time with family, latin dancing and playing congas. Her favorite artists were Marc Anthony and La India. Faith was very important to Mini and she volunteered and was a member of St. Peters Church in Staten Island, NY. Her positive personality and friendly smile will be missed by all who knew her.
Mini is survived by her children, Eddie Maldonado, Charlie Maldonado (Lynnette), Stephanie Maldonado; her grandchildren, Eddie N. Maldonado, Ashleigh Maldonado, Jared Maldonado, Charlie Maldonado Jr., Jayden Maldonado, Elisha Alston, Lailah Fields, and Andrew Faulkenberry; her great-grandchild-to-be, Oliver Maldonado; her siblings, Sandra Rivera, Daisy Maldonado, Domingo Rodriguez, Jolie Rajkumar, Aurora Rodriguez, and Nelly Medina; and many other loving extended family members.
A Homegoing Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC. A visitation will be held prior from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 am on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC.
