Mona M. Clites

Mona M. Clites, 86, of Perrin Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at home. She was born on June 14, 1935 in Langdondale, PA; a daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Edith Mae (Bambling) Eltman. On December 23, 1957 in Winchester, VA; she was united in marriage to George R. Clites. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2004.
She is survived by daughters Diana King and Brenda Doyle married to Michael; grandchildren Christal, April, Charlene, Matt and Dustin; great grandchildren Joseph, Jeremiah, Hanna, Michael, Issac, Ben and Branson; and a brother Draper Eltman.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Beth Miller and siblings Olive May Miller, William Eltman, Dorothy Smith and Terry Eltman.
Mona loved gardening, reading, working puzzles, traveling and spending time with grandchildren, family and friends. She was an amazing mother and grandmother.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor David Grimes officiating.
Burial will be held privately at Bedford County Memorial Park.
