Nadezhda "Nadia" Melyanets, age 51, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully at Wytheville Community Hospital in Wytheville, VA, on Monday, September 2, 2024, surround by her loving family, Nadia was born on Saturday, May 5, 1973 in Belarus to Aleksey and Yevgeniya (Schlaschko) Melyanets.
Nadia was a loving daughter, sister and aunt that loved her family especially her nieces and nephews who she took great joy in spoiling whenever she could. She loved her job in retail sales and was known for her neatness and organizing skills. She enjoyed good Russian food.
Nadia is predeceased by her mother Yevgeniya. Left to cherish her memory are her father Aleksey Melyanets, her sisters Yelena Volk and her husband Slavic and Luba Zubko and her husband Alex, her brother Alex and his wife Maria, her sister Vera Melyanets, her brother Sergey Melyanets, her sister Sveta Shimanskiy and her husband Vlad her brother Daniel Melyanets and his wife Nadia, her sisters Natasha Melnichuk and her husband Ben and Dina Melyanets, her brother Benjamin Melyanets as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Nadia will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel beginning with a visitation at 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens at, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
