Nancy M. Immel

Nancy M. Immel, 89, of Greensburg, died Friday, September 10, 2021. She was born November 2, 1931, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Samuel and Caroline MacKay Scott. Nancy was a member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg. Prior to retirement, she was employed by the former Bell Atlantic Telephone Company. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers and had volunteered at Westmoreland Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Ida Mae Cassidy and Betty Taylor. She is survived by her husband, John H. “Jack” Immel; three children: Judith Wentzel, of Youngwood, Craig Immel, of Greensburg, and Bruce (Evelyn) Immel, of Debary, Fla.; two step-children: Sherry (Terry) O’Halloran, of Greensburg, and John Immel, Jr., of Marguerite; five grandchildren: Bree (Chris) Stemple, Justin (Jodi) Vestrand, Jason Vestrand, Caitlyn Ryan, and Lauren Immel; three great-grandchildren: Briarly, Wyatt, and Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
