Nell Joyce Richardson Walser, 93, of Mint Hill, North Carolina, passed away on August 19, 2026. She was born on September 29, 1932, in Monroe, North Carolina.
Nell was a loving, kind, and happy woman who cherished her family above all else. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and found great joy in spending time with the people she loved.
Nell especially loved her grandchildren, her cat, trips to the beach, fishing, and simply having fun and making memories with her family. She will be remembered most for the love she gave so freely to her family and for the warmth and happiness she brought to those around her.
She is survived by her children, Jana (Rick) Jenkins, John (Kelly) Quick, and Tony (Anita) Quick; her grandchildren, Stephanie Pazmino, Morgan Vyhanek, Aaron Bradley, Joseph Quick, and Jason Quick; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin (Dan) Walser; and siblings, Margie Crawford, Robert Richardson, Frank Richardson, Sam Richardson, Keith Richardson and her parents Dock Richardson and Thelma Richardson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Union County or the Alzheimer’s Association.
A Graveside Service will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227, US, on August 25, 2026 at 11 AM.
