Nicholas Kustra, 81, of Greensburg, died, Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in Hempfield Manor. He was born October 14, 1944, in Herminie, PA, a son of the late John Kustra and Catherine Podufaly Kustra. Nicholas was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. He was a graduate of Sewickley Area High School where he was captain of the football team. Nicholas was an Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He worked for SuperValu for 44 years, retiring in a management role as Director of Distribution/Transportation. He was an avid golfer, loved taking care of his lawn and enjoyed travelling with his wife. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, John, Mary, Peter, and Anna Kustra, also, Mary Ann Karr, Alex Kustra and Harry Kustra; his brother-in-law, George Karr, brother-in-law Albert Lojas and sister-in-law, Irene Savko Kustra. Nicholas is survived by his wife, Joan Brozinski Kustra; his daughters, Crystal Gray (Shawn) and Diane Kennedy (Chris); brother, Mike Kustra; sisters, Annie Lojas and Helen Kustra; his sister-in-law Ruth Gelet Kustra; his four grandchildren, Kenneth and Anthony Gray and Catherine and Abigail Thurston; also, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 2 pm until the hour of service at 4 pm in Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Military honors will follow accorded by members of VFW, Post #33, Greensburg, Honor Guard. Private interment will be held at Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to Hempfield Manor, 1118 Woodward Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601.
