Nicholas M. Poraczky, 66, of Ellis Road, Schellsburg, PA went to his eternal home with Jesus on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Magee Hospital, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA.
Mr. Poraczky was born in Johnstown, PA on May 1, 1955, son of the late George N. and Anna (Hamilka) Poraczky.
Nicholas is survived by Daughter- Lindsey Poraczky, Schellsburg; Son- Philip Poraczky, Alum Bank; Son- Nicholas Poraczky, Philadelphia; Grandchildren Scarlet Poraczky, Alayia Poraczky and Aidden Kauffman, Sister- Barbara Blechertas, York, PA; Sister- Mary Lou McGeary, Johnstown, Nephews- Matthew, Michael and Mark McGeary, David Blechertas and Christopher Poraczky and niece- Melissa Poraczky. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother- George Poraczky and sister- Anna Marie Poraczky
Nicholas served his Country in the US Navy.
He was a truck driver as well as a mechanic.
Nicholas was a lover of motorcycles, he also enjoyed bowling and spending time outdoors. Spending time with his grandchildren brought him great joy. Nicholas was a kind-hearted and hardworking man who would help anyone. Nicholas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Graveside Service will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, PA at 11:00AM on Monday, December 6, 2021 with Pastor Carol Cashdollar officiating.
