Norma Jean Wolford

Norma Jean Wolford, 82, of Cumberland, MD passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at her home.
Born May 9, 1942 in Cumberland, MD, Ms. Wolford was the daughter of the late Clarence Emery Wolford and Emma May (Troutman) Wolford. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter: Tiffany Nelson; as well as 11 siblings and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Norma was a former homecare provider at the Allegany County Health Department and also worked at the Salvation Army as a bell ringer for over 15 years.. She is survived by her 7 children: Dora Ilyas, Toni Palmes, Antonio Palmes, Lisa Butrim, Rhonda Tataleba (Gary), Tammy Porter, Lorrie Porter and significant other, Jon; her boyfriend Jeff Summers; and her best friend Debbie Kniesely; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD 21502 (www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Bruce McBride and Pastor Scott Shook officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
