Norman Andrew "Andy" Cox

Norman Andrew “Andy” Cox, 54, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Andy was born in Charlotte on September 19, 1969, to parents Bobby and Carolyn Brigman Cox. He was a lifetime resident of Mecklenburg County.
Andy was a cutter operator in the printing industry for The Imagine Group. He loved his job and especially his co-workers. Andy enjoyed woodworking, pulling for his Carolina Panthers and operating RC (remote control) cars. He loved his cats, Homer, and Maggie (named after The Simpsons characters). A dedicated son, Andy cared for his mother after his father’s passing. He had a great sense of humor and was the best brother a sister could have.
Surviving Norman Andrew “Andy” Cox are sisters; Nora Bolick (Mark), and Kelly Furr (Timmy), niece Morgan Johnson (Robert), nephews Nicholas and Travis Furr.
In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Williamson.
