Olga Grinchak
April 26, 1930 - March 8, 2025 (Age 94)
Olga Ginchak, age 94 was born Friday, April 26, 1930 in Ukraine to Oleksiy and Ksenia Grinchak. She passed away very peacefully on March 8, 2025 at Levine Dixon Southminister Hospice and surrounded by her loved ones.
Olga had six sisters. From her childhood she heard of Christ. She accepted Him as her Savior and couldn’t imagine her life without Him. Her favorite Bible verse is written in 1 Corinthians 2:9
“But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—1 Corinthians 2:9 ESV. She lived her life loving her Savior, loving her family and people.
She is survived by her son Oleksander and his wife Valentina, daughter Oksana and her husband Volodymyr, her 13 grandchildren Inna, Eugene, Sophia, Michael, Yulia, Gloria, Dmytro, Daniil, Taras, Oles, Diana, Orest and David. She has 19 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Olga on March 10, 2025 at 7:00pm at the Church of New Hope located at 13601 Idlewild Rd, Matthews, NC 28105. A serial service will be held for her on March 11, 2025 starting at 11:00 am in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funeral Home located at 6525 Old Monroe Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079 followed by interment at Sunset Memory Gardens located at 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
Life and Legacy where "A Life Well Lived is a Legacy Remembered" is humbled to have been asked to handle the needs of the Grinchak Family during this very difficult time.
