Oral Mark Morgan

Oral Mark Morgan was born on October 25, 1970, in Jamaica to his loving parents, Evan and Lucilda Morgan. He unexpectedly passed away at his home in Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 13, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him beyond measure.

Oral was a man who believed in doing things the right way. As an automotive paint specialist, he took tremendous pride in his work and was known as a true perfectionist. Every vehicle that left his hands reflected not only his remarkable talent but also the pride and craftsmanship he poured into every detail. He loved his profession and found great satisfaction in creating work that others admired.

A gifted craftsman by nature, Oral loved working with his hands. Whether building, repairing, or creating something new, he possessed an incredible ability to turn an idea into reality. His creativity and attention to detail were evident in everything he touched.

While he was proud of his career, nothing compared to the pride he felt in being a husband and father. For more than 22 wonderful years, Oral shared a beautiful marriage with the love of his life, Mary "Tasha" Morgan. Together they built a home centered on love, commitment, and family. Oral firmly believed in the importance of raising children in a loving two-parent home and devoted himself wholeheartedly to being the kind of father his daughters could always depend upon. His greatest accomplishments in life were not measured by material possessions, but by the family he cherished so deeply. One of the greatest sorrows for those who loved him is that Oral became the first member of his immediate family to depart this life, leaving behind parents, siblings, and loved ones who were never prepared to say goodbye. Though his absence leaves an unimaginable void, the love he gave so freely will forever remain in their hearts.

Left to cherish his precious memory are his devoted parents, Evan and Lucilda Morgan; his beloved wife, Mary "Tasha" Morgan; his cherished daughters, Aaliyah Morgan and Imani Caldwell; his brother, Kerrol Morgan; his sister, Michelle Morgan Jackson and husband Jonathan Jackson ; his nephews, Danial Brooks and wife Bridgette and Tristan Brooks; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever remember his kindness, dedication, and quiet strength. And finally, no obituary would be complete without mentioning the two companions who brought him endless joy—his beloved fur babies, Junior and Kailey, who were truly the apples of his eye and faithful members of his family.

Though Oral's earthly journey has ended far too soon, his legacy of hard work, unwavering devotion to his family, remarkable craftsmanship, and unconditional love will continue to inspire all who knew him. His memory will live on through the lives he touched, the family he loved so fiercely, and the countless reminders of a life well lived.

Services are set for July 24, 2026 starting with a visitation from 10:00 to 10:45 am, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm. The services will take place at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in the (Latin American Worship Center) located at 7200 E. WT Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28215.. Graveside services will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens located at 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
