Cumberland, MD – Pamela A. (Crawford) (Nield) Kyle, 74, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born November 16, 1947 in Cumberland to the late Charles E. and Joyce B. Crawford. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Crawford, her sister JoAnne B. Crawford, her grandparents: Joseph and Elsie Crawford, and George and Lillian Beedle, her aunts: Rita Moore and husband, “Uncle-Toss”, Margaret Green and husband Junior, Frances Spano and husband, Art, Dorothy Brode and husband, John; her Uncle-Harry Crawford, her first husband, Thomas E. Nield, her mother and father in law Dixie and Lawnie Kyle.

Pamela graduated from Allegany High School in 1965. She worked at the YMCA, Rosenbaum’s, Jack and Jill’s, Greenbelt Pizza, Joe’s Viaduct Liquor Store and Restaurant, the Sewing Factory on Race St. in Keyser WVA, Tony’s Pizza in Flintstone, Dawn’s Restaurant in Flintstone, Queen City Creamery in Cumberland, and she was the Secretary Treasurer of the Piney Plains Burial Association.

Pamela attended United Church of Christ in Bowling Green, Flintstone Methodist Church where she was the Lay Speaker, and later Mountaintop Holiness Church where she did the bulletins. She was a member of the Bowling Green Ladies Auxiliary and Flintstone Fire Department. Pamela also ran all offices for Bowling Green Ladies Auxiliary where she was currently serving as secretary. She worked on committees for the Allegany – Garrett County VFRA Ladies Auxiliary, she was a past Officer of the Maryland State Fireman’s Ladies Auxiliary where she was also a Chaplain.

Pamela is survived by her husband, David L. Kyle, her son, Timothy E. Nield, her daughter, Tammy D. Weaver and husband, Paul, her grandsons: Daerik P. Weaver and wife, Erin, Trevor C. Weaver, Benjamen N. Weaver; her brothers: Calvin E. Crawford and wife, Sharon, Colin E. Crawford; her nieces: Christian E. Brooks and husband, Chris, Kelly Crawford; her nephews: Jason Crawford, Matthew Crawford and wife, Mandy, Adam Crawford; her great niece, Jullianna Crawford, her great nephews: Jakob Brooks, Jacob Crawford; her Aunt Rose Rowe in Plymouth, England, and numerous cousins all over the US and England.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 11:00 A.M., with Reverend Reuben Rinker officiating.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
