Patricia E. Dagen

Patricia E. “Pat” Dagen, 95, of Ephrata, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. She was born on October 20, 1930, in Lancaster, to the late Morgan D. & Hazel B. (Bomberger) Dagen.
Pat was a graduate of the formerly known Manor-Millersville Joint High School, now Penn Manor High School. She went on to build a remarkable working life as a typesetter, spending 25 years with Science Press and then 25 years with AMCS. She absolutely loved her work and her job, and that devotion was a defining part of her life. Outside of work, Pat embraced life with enthusiasm. She enjoyed bowling for 50 years and found happiness in camping and boating in Maryland. In her younger years, she loved riding motorcycles and snow mobiles, reflecting her adventurous spirit and love of fun. She also enjoyed quieter pastimes, including completing jigsaw puzzles, reading, and playing bingo. As a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pat carried her faith with her throughout her life. More than anything, Pat loved her life and was very grateful for everything in it. That spirit of thankfulness and joy shaped the way she lived and will be remembered by all who knew her.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34-38 N. Reamstown Road, Reamstown, PA 17567. Patricia’s final resting place will be at Conestoga Memorial Park next to her loving parents.
