Patricia N. Livengood

Cumberland, MD – Patricia Nell (Fallen) Livengood, 86, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at UPMC Western Maryland.
Patricia, daughter of the late John Edward Fallen, Jr., and Lelia May Harris Fallen, was born on February 26, 1935, at home in Ridgeley, WV. She graduated from Allegany High School in 1953 where she was very active and was the very first girl Drum Major in Allegany County. She was married to the late Ronald E. “Jack” Livengood for 48 years. Pat is survived by three sons: Dr. John R. Livengood; Mark Livengood and wife, Kathy; Eric Livengood and wife, Mary; five granddaughters: Megan Hughes and husband, Jacob; Greta Eirich and husband, Steve; Kate, Rose, and Erin Livengood; great grandsons: Ryan Hughes and Brady Eirich; and great granddaughters: Emma Hughes; and Harper and Ava Eirich. The youngest of three daughters, her sisters, Edith Huff and Maxine Sheets preceded her in death.
Pat was a partner with her late husband in the founding of Livengood Insurance in 1959. She was member of Centre Street United Methodist Church where she sang in the Choir since she was a young girl. Always a volunteer, Pat was active in the community with the United Methodist Women, Gordon-Roberts House, Thrasher Museum, Queen City Museum, Woman’s Civic Club, Allegany County Commissions for Women, Women’s Democrat Club, and the Democratic Central Committee.
Pat hopes that every person she ever touched in the office and in her life will know that she cared about them. She did enjoy the journey and tried to make a difference.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Friday, April 16, 2021, from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M., led by Reverend Lloyd McCanna.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
