Patricia Faye Nash, known affectionately to friends and family as Pat, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, in Westerville, OH. Born on July 29, 1935, in Springfield, OH, Pat lived a life characterized by her loving nature, kindness, and gentle spirit. Her departure leaves a legacy of warmth and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Pat was the cherished daughter of the late Reba Connolly Huffman and James Wilkins. She was a proud graduate of Columbus North High School. After graduating, Pat followed Tom to Hawaii where he was serving with the US Army. They were married in the Chapel on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. They were married for 54 happy years! Pat went on to serve her community as a Deputy Clerk in Delaware County. Pat's work ethic and commitment to her role were evident in her many years of service. Her family was the cornerstone of her life.
Pat is survived by her loving children, Carolyn Nash and Craig Nash. She was a source of boundless love and support for her grandchildren, Courtney Browell (Andrew), Chase Susor (Bridget), Andrew Shivley (Kaitlin), and Michael Nash. Pat also delighted in the joys of being a great grandmother to Arthur and Colette Browell, and Thomas and Helen Susor. Her unwavering presence at family gatherings and milestones will be deeply missed, along with her deviled eggs. Pat's interests were a reflection of her nurturing soul. She was an avid sewer, quilter, gardener, and knitter. Her creations were not merely hobbies but acts of love, each stitch and seed a testament to her devotion to her family and friends. Pat's quilting club ladies held a special place in her heart, as they shared not only a passion for their craft but also countless hours of friendship and laughter. Taking care of her grandchildren was not just a pastime for Pat; it was a vocation.
She poured her love into every moment spent with them, sharing stories, nurturing their growth and cooking tons of French toast. As we say goodbye to Pat Nash, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey marked by the love she gave and the lives she touched. Her memory will be cherished, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
