Patricia O'Baker

Cumberland, MD-Patricia Arbella O’Baker, 81, of Cumberland, MD passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at her home.

Born September 7, 1940 in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. O’Baker was the daughter of the late Kenneth Wilson and Dessie (Bonner) Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George T. O’Baker, March 8, 2003; a brother: Kenneth “Dink” Wilson.

A homemaker, Pat was a graduate of Fort Hill High School Class of 1958 and also Catherman’s Business School. She loved taking care of her family and after raising her four daughters she played a vital role in helping raise her grandchildren even to the extent of adopting one as her own son. Pat was a member of Davis Memorial United Methodist Church since childhood.

Pat is survived by her children: Dawn Renee O’Baker, Debra Rhonda Kephart and husband John; Danette Roxane Burt and husband Jim; Dana Rachelle Klish and husband Kenny; her adopted son: George Timothy O’Baker, II; her grandchildren: John Kephart, II (Erin), Tricia Iliff (Michael), Colton Sites, Abigail Burt, Kiersten Sites, Blake O’Baker, Austin Burt, Tyler Corbin, and Ava Burt; her step-grandchildren: Savanna and Seth Klish; and five great-grandsons with another due in September. She is also survived by her sisters: Laraine Bennett, Darlene Moyer, and Charlene Bovey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD (www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Rob Pierson officiating.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
