Patricia Shaner

Patricia L. (Kanis) Shaner, 81, of Parks Township, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, at UPMC East Hospital in Monroeville.
A daughter of the late Vincent Kanis and Anna (Mamros) Kanis, she was born June 30, 1940 in Leechburg, PA.
Patricia had been employed as a Personnel Manager and Front End Supervisor for K-Mart Corp. in Allegheny Township for 42 years before retiring in 2016. She enjoyed solving word search puzzles and playing cards with her card club.
Survivors include her son, Brenton L. Shaner of Vandergrift; and her daughter, Brends Carrigan (Michael) of Cheswick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Edward and George Kanis; and two sisters, Mary Hunt and Marianne Bush.
There will be no public visitation or funeral ceremonies. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051. Private interment will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
