Patrick William Pratt, 68, of Utica passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Licking Memorial Hospital under the care of Hospice of Central Ohio. He was born on July 28, 1956 in Columbus to the late Charles W. and Gladys A. (Jordan) Pratt.
Pat graduated from Highland High School in 1974. For 29 years, Pat worked for COTA in the bus maintenance department. He was a member of Local 208 Transportation Workers Union of America. Pat loved golfing, ping pong, shooting pool, playing poker and listening to sports on the radio. He was a big Ohio State and Reds fan.
Pat is survived by his wife, Donna L. (Hatfield) who he married on September 19, 1991; son, Joshua M. (Alyson) Pratt; daughter, Ami N. (Charlie Hane) Pratt; grandchildren, Cody, Noah, and Devin Derifield, Charlee Hane, Alyssa and Brendon Merritt, and Cecilia and Hudson Pratt; and brother, Charles “Mike” (Connie) Pratt.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Dowds Chapel 201 Newark Rd., Mount Vernon. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the funeral home with Chaplain Reece Patrick. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024 in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester.
