Buffalo Mills, PA – Paul E. Manges, 80, of Buffalo Mills, passed away Saturday June 3, 2023 at his home.

Born June 2, 1943 in Cumberland; he was a son of the late Edmund G. and Lottie E. (Shroyer) Manges. He was also preceded in death by brother, Edmund G. Manges, sister, Louisa Kay Mueller, nephew, James Farley Kelly, father and mother-in-law, Clarence “Whitey” and Katheleen (Fleegle) DePew.

Survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Sharon K. (DePew) Manges whom he married June 23, 1973; sisters-in-law, Karen Brake and Mary “Sis” Shaffer; nieces and nephews, Gregg Manges, Kathie Hanen, Stacey Lepley, Bree McCahan, William Perdew, Sara McKenzie, Susan Perdew, Timothy Perdew, Shania Messelman, Jon Hutzell, Marc Hutzell and Robin Keel, many great nieces and nephews.

Paul was a graduate of Hyndman High School and Penn State University. He was an Electrical, Civil Cad Operator / Designer. He had retired from Bechtel Corporation and over the years worked on several Nuclear Power Plants, local municipalities and transportation departments. He retired in 2012. He was a member of the Hyndman Masonic Lodge No. 589 F&AM, Ali Ghan Shriners, National Railway Historical Society, Potomac Chapter NRHS, Bedford County Historical Society, Milligan’s Cove Historical Society and Boy Scout Troop 60 in Hyndman where he was an Eagle Scout.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman Friday June 9, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. Masonic service at 8p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday June 10, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating. Viewing one hour prior.

Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Hyndman Masonic Lodge 589 F&AM c/o Jerry Gibbner, 108 S. Elmcrest St., Hyndman, PA 15545
