Paul Long

Paul F. Long, 63, of Unity Township, died Saturday, April 11, 2026 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born August 20, 1962 in Latrobe, a son of the late Walter E. Sr. and Patricia M. (Todd) Long. He was a graduate of Greater Latrobe High School class of 1980. Prior to his illness Paul worked for Greensburg Beverage and previously at Westmoreland Distributing in Greensburg, Pepsi in Kecksburg and was a milk truck driver. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Marguerite. Paul enjoyed hunting and camping and sitting on the porch with his grand dog Mya. He was most proud of his two sons. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia L. (Patts) Long, 2 sons, David G. Long of New Alexandria and Ryan T. Long at home, 2 brothers, Walter E. Long, Jr. (Judy) of Norvelt and Clifford A. Long (Pam) of Lycippus, 2 sisters, Elizabeth A. Sweeley of Salem, OH and Carol L. Hellein (Sonny) of Mt. Pleasant and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity where a funeral liturgy will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, April 16, 2026 with The Rev. Kenneth Zaccagnini as celebrant. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the UPMC Medical and Health Sciences Foundation, 3600 Forbes Ave., Suite 8084, Pittsburgh, PA 15213
