Paul B. Thompson, 62 passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Genesis Hospital. He was born October 22, 1958 in Erie, PA to the late Ernest and Ruth Black Thompson. Paul received his Master’s in Administration from Ohio University and was a Principal at several area schools. He was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church, Covenant Presbyterian in Erie, PA, Zanesville Memorial Concert Band and Boy Scouts of America.

He is survived by his wife Linda Dovala Thompson; a son Eric Shields; a daughter Jennifer Shields; and two grandchildren: Connor Shields and Christopher Shields.

Calling hours will be from 10AM to 1PM Monday, August 30, 2021 at Central Trinity United Methodist Church, 62 South Seventh Street, Zanesville. The funeral will begin at 1PM with Pastor Jon Exman officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
