Pauline J. (Beran) Kristoff, 83, of Madison, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Independence Health in Greensburg, PA. She was born May 20, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant, PA. Daughter of the late William W. and Mary Ann (Petrick) Beran. She graduated from Ramsey High School Class of 1959. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Herminie, PA for over 60 years. As well as, an active 60+ year member of the Madison Volunteer Fire Company; helping and cooking for numerous spaghetti and turkey dinners held at the firehall. Pauline was a very religious woman and read her Bible every day. She loved the outdoors and working in her garden. Pauline was a natural caregiver and was happiest taking care of others. And she loved children. She was a great cook and was known for her delicious French toast and coconut cream pies. Pauline was raised on the family farm and enjoyed taking care of the chickens and billy goats. In her younger years, she enjoyed polka dancing. Pauline loved Elvis and was able to see him perform at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. She is preceded in death by both parents and sister, Anna Marie Beran. She is survived by loving husband of 62 years, Donald R. Kristoff of Madison, PA; sons, Scott Alan Kristoff of Wendel, PA and Ken R. (Holly) Kristoff of Rostraver Twp., PA; special friend, Darla Denitti and her grandchildren, Luca and Aubree. Friends will be received from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Monday, December 4, 2023 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr. Supervisor/FD. A blessing service will be held at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 120 Herminie Rd. Hermine, PA 15637, with Fr. Dave Nazimek officiating. Anyone wishing to attend the mass is asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow at the Westmoreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensburg, PA.
