Peggie Lee Scott

November 7, 1944 – February 7, 2026 (Age 81)

Ms. Peggie Lee Scott age 81 of Belmont, NC passed away on February 7, 2026 at Stanley Total Living Care in Stanley, NC. With loving arms, God gently called Peggie Lee Scott home after a brief illness, welcoming her into eternal rest and peace.

Peggie was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, one of nine children, to the late Lottie and Edward

Scott. A quiet soul with a kind heart, Peggie found her greatest joy in the simple blessings of life.

She loved being at home, tending her garden, caring faithfully for her beloved mother, and

nurturing the pets she held dear. She had a sweet spirit and a fondness for life’s small

pleasures—especially sweet treats—which we trust she now enjoys in abundance as she

rejoices in heaven.

Peggie leaves behind a legacy of love to be cherished by her sisters, Linda (Duren) and Debra

of York, South Carolina; her brothers, Zachary of York, South Carolina; Michael of Charlotte,

North Carolina; and Jerry of Racine, Wisconsin; along with many loving nieces and nephews

who will forever hold her memory close.

She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, North

Carolina, beside her beloved mother. It brings comfort to know they are reunited once more,

resting together in God’s eternal care.

Funeral services are entrusted to House of Rosadale on Independence, 5216 E. Independence

Boulevard, Charlotte, North Carolina, where condolences may be shared.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He

leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul.”
