Peggy Middleton
September 26, 1933 - February 1, 2023 (Age 89)
Mrs Peggy Moore Middleton 89, passed peacefully Wednesday, February 1, 2023, surrounded by her Family. She was born in Granite Falls, NC the daughter of the late Lula Victoria Mull and Claude Eugene Moore.
Peggy came to Charlotte from San Diego CA where she had lived with her husband and high school sweetheart, Robert and daughter, Tanya while he was in the Navy. They were married for 67 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Middleton and sister Lois (Fred) Kirby. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Tanya (Darnell) Silverthorne-Hammack of Charlotte and grandchildren Andrea Heinen, Julie Silverthorne and Mark (Brandi) Silverthorne. Great Grandchildren Joshua Perez, Isabel Perez, Christian Silverthorne, Jackson Silverthorne, Christian Silverthorne, Finley Silverthorne, Kendall Heinen and Annella King, niece Kay Rogers, nephew Thomas Kirby (Nancy), great nephews Jeffrey Kirby (Kristin), Joel Kirby and Jay Burris, and Great-Great Grandchildren Novalle and Kayden.
There will be a graveside service Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11 am at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Charlotte NC.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11 am at Robinson Presbyterian Church with Michael Cummings officiating.
