Perry O. Yarnell

Perry O. Yarnell, 68, of Fishertown, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at home in, Fishertown, PA.
Perry was born in Windber on June 21, 1954, son of the late Burt Yarnell Jr. and MaryAnn (Gerula) Yarnell, of New Paris.
On July 2, 1976, he married his wife Deborah Schade.
In addition to his wife Deborah and his mother MaryAnn, Perry is survived by son- Jason husband of Jennifer (Hite) Yarnell, of Lovely; daughter- Ashley wife of Carl Hite, Jr., of New Paris; sister- Sandy Engle, of OH.; brother- Jerry Yarnell, of NC.; brother- Roger Yarnell, of New Paris; and grandchildren Hailey, Jacob, Allyson, Brody.
Perry was a member of Mt. Union United Methodist Church in Lovely.
He was a truck driver for over 40 years. Along with his brother, Roger, owned school buses for 20 years. He enjoyed mechanical and excavation work.
Perry enjoyed shooting pool with friends and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Mt. Union United Methodist Church in Lovely.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11 AM at Mt. Union United Methodist Church.
Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alum Bank Volunteer Fire Department or Chestnut Ridge Ambulance Association.
