Porter Llewellyn

Porter Elsworth Llewellyn, 89, of Corriganville, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026 at UPMC - WM.
Born June 24, 1937, in Lonaconing, MD, he was the son of the late Herbert and Gertrude Llewellyn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life of 49 years, his wife, Dorothy (Shimer) Llewellyn; brothers, Stephen and Everett Llewellyn; sisters, Hilda Shriver, Naomi Raynor, and Arbutus DeBouck; son-in-law, Wayne Walls; and granddaughter, Amanda Bell.
Porter worked for the Kelly Springfield Tire Company. He enjoyed working his farm. In his later years, he enjoyed watching wildlife from his front porch and spending time with his family and friends.
Porter is survived by his brother, John Llewellyn; children, Kim Linn (Terry), Dave Llewellyn (Kim), Judy Stanczyk (Stan), Anita Bell (Rodney), and Donna Seese; grandchildren, Heather Linn (Mike), Brandy Pacella (Nick), David Llewellyn (Missy), Stephanie Poling (Tyler), Terry Linn II (Jodee), Phillip Bell (Jessica), Justin Stair (Holly), Jade Stair, Jordon Llewellyn, and Lennon D'Almeida (Genevieve); great-grandchildren, Dakota Heider (Michaela), Corey Smith (Gracen), Kenny Linn Sisk, Brian Detrick, Hailey Stair, Zander Linn, Caiden Linn, Angela Bell, Addyson Linn, Savannah Bell, Branson Walker, Janna Stair, Andy Pacella, Sophia Poling, Masen Linn, Beau Llewellyn, Brycen Linn, Perrin Stair, Natalie Bell, and Nessa and Nerissa D'Almeida; great-great-grandchildren, Violet, Charlotte, Lynette, and Juliet Heider; two special granddogs, Tessie "Little Dog" and Delilah; friends he thought of as family, Ronnie Crawford, Bub Carpenter, John Quinn, Mark Porter, and Erica Kelly; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
All friends and family are welcome to attend a graveside service held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 11128 Cash Valley Rd NW, Cumberland, MD on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Stevie Leydig and Pastor Caleb Shaffer officiating.
Interment will follow.
