R. Adeline Youse

R. Adeline (Shaner) Youse, 97, of Boyertown, PA, widow of Lynwood G. Youse, died Sunday October 1, 2023, at Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown.
Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late John Y. Shaner and the late Emma C. "Dolly" (Shirey) Shaner. Adeline was employed by Shop Rite super market for 17 years as a cashier and office worker.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry L. wife of Wes Cassel, Boyertown; one sister, E. Louise Roberts, Douglassville; Daughter in law, Allison Works, ME; two grandchildren, Ursula L. wife of Todd Gamler, Boyertown; and Andrew Cassel husband of Echo, Boyertown; two great grandsons, Ryan Gamler and Austin Cassel. She was predeceased by an infant son, Barry R. Youse; Son, Gary L. Youse; three brothers, John, I. Paul and G. David Shaner.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Monday October 9, 2023 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Scott Major. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home.
