Ralph Baisden

Ralph H. Baisden, age 76, passed away on July 11, 2024. He was born on February 20, 1948, in Delbarton, West Virginia, to the late Fred and Jessie Baisden. Ralph was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather. Known for his generosity and willingness to help others, he was always ready to give the shirt off his back and lend a hand whenever needed.

Ralph earned his Master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and dedicated 40 years to a successful career in engineering. His commitment to his country led him to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969. Ralph was not only skilled in his profession but also a skilled craftsman, having built every home the family lived in over the years in various locations.

In his leisure time, Ralph enjoyed fishing and cherished moments spent with his family, especially during family gatherings and parties. His faith was a guiding light throughout his life, and he was a devoted Christian.

Ralph H. Baisden leaves behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and love that will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife Emma (Epling) Baisden, children; Jennifer (Aaron) O'Brien and Ralph (Sara) Baisden, grandchildren; Colleen, Ava, Tate and Alyssa and siblings; Colin Baisden and Gail (Elmer) Mounts along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Jessie Baisden; brothers, Clarence, Larry and Earl Baisden and sisters, Joy Parsley, Carrie Marcum and Juanita Clark.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17th from 12pm – 2pm followed by a service beginning at 2pm at Schoedinger Northeast 1051 East Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Services will conclude with interment at Franklin Hills Cemetery, 5802 Elder Road Canal Winchester, OH 43110.
