Ralph E. Denton

Ralph E. Denton, 82, of Zanesville passed at 12:51 P.M. on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his home.

He was born on Monday, April 17, 1939 in Zanesville, OH the son of the late William Denton and Mary Wisehart Denton.

Ralph was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a member of Maranatha Bible Church. Retired from the teamsters after 26 years of service, and 11 years as a bus driver. He loved watching

The OSU Buckeyes play football and was a diehard Cleveland Browns fan - he always held out hope one day they would go to another Super Bowl.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Sue Denton; three children, Dee (Alan) Okuly, Chris (Jason) Weaver and Sean Denton; a daughter-in-law, Melanie Denton; four grandchildren, Kala Steed, Kari (fiancé Justin Soller) Steed, Mekenzie Denton and Noah Denton; four great-grandchildren, Mylee Sharrer, Peyton Steed, Jordan and Jada Young.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by all thirteen of his siblings; his eldest son, Rob and his beloved dog Shiloh.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home and from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 where funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. Burial with military honors will conclude at the

Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
