Ralph G Hawk Jr

Ralph G. Hawk, 68, of Irwin, passed peacefully on April 9, 2026, in Monroeville. He was born on November 14, 1957, to the late Ralph B. Hawk and Claudia (Breon) Durmis. Ralph enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He spent many years as a truck driver, a profession he truly enjoyed. In his free time, he could often be found sitting on a barstool with friends. He enjoyed watching classic cowboy shows, especially Gunsmoke or those starring John Wayne. He also loved hunting and fishing. Ralph is survived by his loving children, Christy, Michelle, Ralph, Nicole, John Wayne “Duke”, and Johnny. He is also survived by his life partner, Jessica Thompson; two sisters, Laurie and Margie; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Scott, and Danny Hawk. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 4-8 p.m. at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin, PA 15642. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Dan Hertzler officiating. Burial will follow at Penn Lincoln Cemetery.
