Randy J. Fisher

July 7, 1953 - June 2, 2025 (Age 71)

Randy J. Fisher, 71, passed away from Alzheimer’s complications at Hamilton Arms on Monday, June 2, 2025. Thanks to all who aided in his care. He was the son of the late Robert E. Fisher, III and Barbara Ann Fisher.

A lifelong resident of Lancaster, he graduated from McCaskey High School and attended classes at Franklin & Marshall College. He was proud to say that he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Randy worked for U.S. Boiler Burnham for 44 years, advancing from the mailroom to regional manager. He bled Burnham blue and was dedicated to his job, and was fortunate to have been able to travel for his job.

Randy enjoyed many cruises to interesting ports, thanks to friends who invited them along. Other interests included golf, where he enjoyed a challenging round and fellowship, then getting together afterwards at Riverside Club, harness racing, as well as locally training harness horses. Randy traveled many miles, attending both harness and thoroughbred tracks.

He is survived by his sister, Barbie Shirk (Tom); nephew, Jason; niece, Ashley; great-niece, Scarlett; and many cousins in New Orleans. He will be deeply missed by his longtime companion, Carol, and her sons, Jim and Tom Brandt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Randy’s Graveside Service at Riverview Burial Park, 1100 S. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA, on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Randy’s memory to the Salvation Army, 131 S. Queen Street, Lancaster, PA 17603, or a charity of your choice.
