Raymond Morris

Flintstone,MD- Raymond E. Morris, 83, of Flintstone passed away on January 11, 2024 at his home.
Born December 28, 1940 he was the son of the late Forest Lee Morris, Sr. and Thelma (Hamilton) Morris. He was also preceded in death by his daughter “Kim” Daniels, and his grandsons Matthew Daniels and Troy Allen Daniels,Jr.
Raymond grew up on Pennsylvania Ave. and graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1959. He served our country in the Army, where he watched the construction of the Berlin Wall. He then married Sandra K. Legeer and they were blessed with two daughters. Above all, he was a dedicated and involved father and husband. He enjoyed being an active member of the 4H Dairy Goat Club with his daughters. He was very proud to work for his brother and owner of Sony’s Transfer. He loved working for ABL as a test car driver, having over one million accident free miles. He was an avid Trump supporter.
Raymond is survived by his wife Sandra K. (Legeer) Morris, his daughter Tina M. Brutt (David), great grandchildren Anna, Bo and Cameron “Parker”, grandchildren Nicolas Daniels (Mandy) and Tyler Daniels, and son-in-law Troy Allen Daniels,Sr.
Visitation was held on Tuesday January 16 from 2:00 until 4:00pm at Scarpelli Funeral Home,P.A. 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland,MD., and there will be another visitation held on Wednesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
