Rebecca “Becky” Anne Shipley, 59, of LaVale, died March 28, 2023 at home, surrounded by her family.
Born November 20, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Louis Robert Smith and Geraldine Louise (Ringer) Smith.
She was also preceded in death her brothers, David and Bub Smith.
Becky was a graduate of Fort Hill High School. She had also attended the Vo-Tech School.
She was an employee at Biederlack up until their closing.
In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and making jewelry. She loved to bake! Most of all, Becky loved spending time with her grandbabies!
Survivors include her lifetime partner and father of children, Robert Mongold; children, Joshua Noel, Angela Hollins, and Chantelle DiNicola and husband Seth; grandchildren, Lindsay, Dekota, Drayvin, Sami Jo, Gage, Domenic, Riley, Nathaniel, Brodie, Gabriel, Raquel, and Dario; great-grandchildren; sisters, Barb Spiker and husband Jack, and Brenda Smith; and, several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Sunday from 6-8 PM.
The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the funeral home, with Pastor Dan Twigg, officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
