Rebecca Phillips

Rebecca L. (Geist) Phillips, 76, of Zanesville, died at 5:06 P.M. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at her home. She was born December 6, 1947, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Ernest and Erma Geist. Rebecca was a woman of many talents who enjoyed reading, soap making, cake decorating, and various other arts and crafts.
She is survived by her four sons, William Phillips, Michael (Mylinda) Phillips, Dustin Phillips, and Bryan Phillips; two grandsons, Tyler and Conner Phillips; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Donald E. Phillips, who died December 29, 2021; a brother Rev. Dr. Ernest “Butch” Geist; and a sister Sally Deuschel.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Donald at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville
