Rev. James Stanley “Stan” Lasinski
76, of Lower Burrell, died Monday May 17, 2021 in VA Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in Richmond, VA. On November 17, 1944 to the late Alexander T. and Ada M. Brown Lasinski and has been a resident of Lower Burrell for the past 26 years having previous residing in Vandergrift.
Rev. Lasinski was the president and founder of Midnight Hour Ministries and had also worked in insurance sales for many years. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting and appraising coins, collecting stamps and was a history buff, especially Civil War history.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years Ada A. Carson Lasinski, two children Christina “Tina” (Ruben) Cortez, of Tarentum, Angela “Angel” (Michael) Geis of Lake Helen, FL., three stepchildren Angel (Bob) Gray of Arnold, Clarissa (David) Thomm of Cheswick, Onolee Rector of Grand Rapids, MI., two grandchildren Devon and Karsen Cortez, three step grandchildren Theodore and Nickey Gray and Alexis Thomm and brother Thomas (Linda) Lasinski of Mesa, AZ.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Kenneth Lasinski and brother Francis Lasinski.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME 3124 Leechburg Rd. at Alder St. where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM by Pastor Carmen Butler. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
