Richard L. Kienzle

Richard Kienzle, 75, of Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, in his home. Lifelong Greensburg resident born on March 1, 1951. He was the son of the late Richard and Clara Kienzle. Rich was a 1969 graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh. His focus was writing about country music/musicians, interviewing many country music notables. He wrote for Country Music Magazine and a variety of journals. His book "Southwest Shuffle" covered two decades of music history. He had become a well-known country music journalist and historian. Private burial will be at Westmoreland Memorial Cemetery.
