Richard D. Marto Sr., 90, of Irwin died on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Golden Heights in Irwin. He was born on March 10, 1934 in Greensburg, to the late Peter and Mary (D'Ettore) Marto. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Wife, Nancy (Hanko) Marto; sisters: infant Rose Marie, Phyllis Willochell, Annie Gongaware, Helen D'Angelo, Josephine Burk, Julie Krall; brothers, Samuel, William, Robert and Raymond Marto Richard worked as a Meat Cutter/Manager. He was a member of Penn Zion Lutheran Church, Penn Twp. Surviving are his children; , Richard Marto, Jr, Melissa (Jeff) Bluman; Karen (Randy) Zummo and Scott Marto. Ten grandchildren, Matt (Michelle) Bluman, Amanda Seyko, Randy (Kat) Zummo, Jr., Anthony (Lindsay) Zummo, Elizabeth Zummo, Richard Marto, Grace Marto, Christopher Marto, Nicholas Marto, Ciara Marto. Also 7 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Richards family would like to extend a special thank you to Golden Heights Personal Care Home and AHN Hospice Care. Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc. 3343 Route 130, PO Box 465, Harrison City (724-744-2721) from 1pm to 8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 11 am Penn Zion's Lutheran Church Harrison City, PA, with Rev. Roger L. Steiner, officiating. Burial will be in the Jeannette Memorial Park.
