Richard C. Saunders

Richard C. Saunders, 86, of McKeesport, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in UPMC McKeesport. He was born March 4, 1927, in McKeesport. He was the son of the late Charles and Kathryn (Esher) Saunders. Richard was a retired employee of USX National Tube Works and an Army veteran, serving in World War II. He was also a volunteer at Life Steps, in McKeesport. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Mae (Richards) Saunders; two daughters, Sheila (Ron) Crabtree and Patricia Matteson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Dolores (Bob) Smith, and a sister-in-law, Judy Langsdorf. No visitation will be held. All arrangements are under the care of the WILLIAM H. CRAIG FUNERAL HOME INC., McKeesport.
