Robert B. Stevenson

Robert Barry "Bob" Stevenson, 74, of Moncks Corner, a retired project manager for retail chain stores, died Friday afternoon in a Charleston hospital.

Mr. Stevenson's memorial service will be 12:00 PM Friday, February 11, 2022, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Interment will be at a later date in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park, PA. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Stevenson was born July 17, 1947, a son of Robert G. Stevenson and Eleanor Rowe Stevenson. He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and he was of the Protestant faith and had a prison ministry. Mr. Stevenson enjoyed playing the saxophone, golfing, and spending time with his dog, Sophie. He was known to “tinker” and enjoyed visiting Navy ships. Mr. Stevenson was the widower of Mrs. Joyce McDonald Stevenson.

Surviving are his wife, Sue Loudin-Stevenson; four sons, Kevin Stevenson and his wife, Heidi, of Greensburg, PA, Jason Stevenson of Pittsburg, PA, Kevin Loudin and his wife, Erin, of Summerville, and Chris Loudin and his wife, Joyce, of Salesville, OH; two sisters, Wendy Hawkey and her husband, Jim, of Mt. Pleasant, PA, and Cindy Price and her husband, Ronnie, of Greensburg, PA; a brother, Terry Stevenson and his wife, Ann, of Greensburg, PA; five grandchildren, Garrett, Kylie, Micah, Caleb, and Christopher; and two great grands, Lainey and Elijah.
