Robert Carlton Crum
January 21, 1959 - February 28, 2025 (Age 66)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Carlton Crum, better known as Bobby, age 66, who left us on February 28, 2025, in Circleville, Ohio. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Bobby was the son of the late John and Phyllis Crum.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Phillip, his niece Amanda, as well as his grandparents, aunts, and uncles. He is survived by his sisters, Sharon (Larry) Adkins, Sandi (Roger) Moyer and Gloria Portier (Larry Cervi); his brother, Johnny Mike; nieces Jaclyn, Amy, Candace, Tiffany, Marissa, Whitney, and Victoria; nephew Matthew; along with many great nieces and nephews, including Maria, Julian, Olivia, Autumn, Mikey, Devon, Dylan, Sophia, Greyson, Anabelle, Ruby, Johnny, Will, Yvie, Mary, Emery, Chloe and many special cousins he was so fond of.
Bobby had a passion for many things, including god, 80’s rock music, cats, cherry Pepsi, Red Lobster, and his mom’s famous pumpkin pie. Known as an air guitar legend, his playful spirit and love for life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A family service will be held to honor Bobby’s memory on Friday March 7, 2025 at Saint Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church located at 807 Havens Corners Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Family will receive friends from 10am-11am followed by mass and a memorial in the bottom of the church after. Bobby requested we all wear our 80’s rock shirts in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Saint Matthew’s church in Bobby’s name, as his love for jesus was unmatched.
He will be deeply missed, but his memory and rock n roll spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
