Robert Charles Fusner
January 7, 1949 - November 1, 2024 (Age 75)
Robert “Bob” Charles Fusner age 75, passed peacefully on November 1, 2024, at 11:03 AM surrounded by his loving family following a 2 ½ year battle with cancer.
Bob was born on January 7, 1949, in Zanesville to the late Russell G. and Mildred B. (Mussellman) Fusner. Bob attended Cornerstone Full Gospel Church in Duncan Falls. Bob loved the peace of getting on his Harley Davidson motorcycle and riding the hills of southern Ohio and stopping along the way for a bite to eat. Bob drove over the road truck for many years beginning his career with George Upvall, then owning and operating his own truck. He also worked for Buckeye Water Service, Polks and retired from Mattingly Foods. He enjoyed his family and grandchildren and seeing the newest great-grandchildren. Bob enjoyed teaching his two grandsons, Harrison and Hayden, to work on vehicles. He also enjoyed watching his granddaughters, Charlea, Camber, Natalie, and Cheyenne play sports. Bob is a veteran of the United States Army, having served during Vietnam.
Bob is survived by his special friend Nina Ater, his sister Barbara Montgomery, his children Tammy (Tim) Blake, Dirk (India) Revennaugh, Trevor Fusner, Heather Dingey, Megan (Jesse) Dingey, grandchildren Kaleb Browning, Cheyenne (Josh) Blake, Charlea (Mark) Brown, Camber (Cody) Revennaugh, Harrison and Hayden Fusner, Wyatt Martin and Kash Garber. His great-grandchildren, Sophia, Kolt, Kacen, Wrenley, Sylvie, and one due soon. Bob is also survived by his aunt Sally Fusner and many cousins, his nephew Eric Fusner and niece Kirsten (Shane) Border; as well as his fur baby, Bugzy.
We would like to thank Nina Ater for her time, love, and devoted care to our brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Also, we want to thank the Genesis Hospice Morrison House for their professional care.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancy Jane Fusner, his brothers Russell G. Jr, David Fusner, and granddaughter Natalie Jane Martin.
Calling hours will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Services will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Harrop will officiate the service. Burial will take place at Memorial Park in Zanesville with full Military Honors.
