Robert L. Hartman, Sr., age 66, of Canal Winchester, died Monday, March 28, 2022 at his residence. Born August 17, 1955 in Columbus to the late Donald & Patricia Hartman. He was a 1973 graduate of Canal Winchester High School and attended Ohio University. He was the owner/operator of Don Hartman, Inc. in Canal Winchester and was a member of St. John XXIII Church.
Rob is survived by his wife of 30 years, Elaine Hartman; children, Elizabeth Hartman (Timothy Calderwood), Catherine Hartman (fiancé, Nicholas Bartlett), and Robert Hartman, Jr. (Michael Belt); sister, Debra (Charles) Nebel; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends and colleagues.
Friends may visit 4-8 pm Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester with a Vigil Service at 7:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held 11 am Saturday at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 5170 Winchester Southern Rd, Canal Winchester, OH 43110 with Fr. Brian O’Connor, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute to the church in Rob’s memory.
