Robert S. Harclerode
August 30, 1926 - June 13, 2022 (Age 95)
Robert S Harclerode, 95, formerly of Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2022, from Hollidaysburg Veteran's Home, Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania.
Robert was born in Manns Choice on August 30, 1926, son of the late William H. and Isadora (Stockenus) Harclerode.
Robert is survived by daughter- Terri wife of Richard Ream, Red Lion, PA.; stepchildren- John & Linda Suter, New Paris; step-daughter- Lou Ann wife of Tim Lingenfelter, VA; step-son- Patrick Suter, Carlisle; step-daughter- Pamela wife of Carl Feight, Everett; sister- Vera wife of Harold Sciranko, Bedford; son-in-law- James Smith, Ozark, AL; special niece Connie Stiffler, Bedford; as well as 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Josephine (Wright), second wife Betty (Burket) Suter-Harclerode, grandson- Travis Feight; and daughter- Judi Smith.
Robert served his country in the Army during World War II, and he received his World War II Victory Medal.
He was a HVAC -Service Man at Agway in Martinsburg for numerous years. He was a member of the Bedford VFW and the Tulls Hill Bible Church.
A visitation will be held Friday, June 17 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Mickle Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, PA.
A funeral service will on Friday, June 17, at 11:00 AM at Mickle Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Swain officiating. Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, PA.
Military rites accorded by Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
