Robert Steffy
August 10, 1933 - March 28, 2024 (Age 90)
Robert Steffy, 90, of Lititz, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born in Lancaster to the late Wendell and Emma (Strauss) Steffy and was the husband of the late Violet J. (Wanner) Steffy.
Robert worked as a miner for Bethlehem Steel and Grace Mines in Morgantown. He served his county as a sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War. In his free time, he was an avid NASCAR fan, he enjoyed hunting and loved animals, particularly bird watching.
Robert is survived by a son, Rick, husband of Sandra Steffy; a daughter, Dianne Anne; a stepson, Walter Ream, Jr., companion of Tina Vitale; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was proceeded in death by a son, Jeffrey Steffy; a granddaughter, Shaina Steffy; two brothers, Lester Steffy, Raymond Steffy; a half-brother, Norman Eckert and a son-in-law, Larry Anne.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 2 PM, at Memory Gardens, Ephrata.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be made to Rothsville Fire Company, 2071 Main St, Lititz, PA 17543.
