Robin Charlene Thomas

Robin Charlene Thomas, 60, of Charlotte, passed away on August 24, 2024. Through the blessing of hospice, she was able to be at home surrounded by her family.

Robin was born and raised in Charlotte and graduated from Independence High School, Class of 1982. She was a beloved wife, mother and nanny, married for 37 years to her husband and blessed with two sons. Robin enjoyed working at the Nalle Clinic and caring for the many people that came in for care from Dr. Copsis and the staff. When not working, she loved fishing, going to Kure Beach, interacting with everyone on facebook, and holidays, especially Christmas. Robin was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Robin is survived by her husband, Anthony Thomas; her two sons: Billy Thomas and Travis Turner; her daughter-in-law Tamara Turner; and her grandson, Austin Bazen-Turner. Robin is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Robin’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for her and for them. A service celebrating her life will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in the chapel of the funeral home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road, Matthews, NC 28105. Friends may call upon the family at the funeral home from 2 pm until the time of service. All services will conclude at the funeral home with private burial to take place later at Sunset Memory Gardens in Charlotte.
