Roland E. Figore
January 20, 1938 – October 21, 2026 (Age 88)
Roland Figore Jr. age, 88, passed away on October 21, 2026. A lifelong resident of Tarentum PA, Ron was born on January 20, 1938, to Sophia (Jerome) Figore and Roland Figore Sr. He attended Admiral Farragut Academy in Pine Beach, NJ, graduating in 1955, and went on to earn a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Grove City College in 1959.
He dedicated 38 years of his career to the U.S. Steel Corporation as a foreman in the maintenance department. A man of religion, he was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, and he was also part of the Ezekiel 37 prayer group in New Kensington, PA.
Ron had a passion for boating, he was a member of the U.S. Power Squadrons and Oakmont Country Club, and served as the commander of the Pittsburgh Power Squadron (District 7) in 2012. He was an avid fan of Formula One racing and a member of the Sports Car Club of America.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn (Hansen) Figore, children Stacey Figore and Heather Figore, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026 from 11 AM - 12 PM noon. A Blessing Service will take place immediately following at 12 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell
