Ronald Charles Vayansky

Ronald Charles Vayansky, 78, of Pataskala, Ohio formerly of West Newton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at his residence. He was born on December 3, 1946, in Washington County, Pennsylvania to the late Helen and Michael Vayansky. Ronald was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he served during Vietnam. He retired after 30 plus hardworking years as a steel worker from US Steel Clairton Mill Works, and never missed a day of work. Ronald was truly a jack of all trades and could do anything himself, which is evident through his construction and remodeling work. He loved to travel and spend time with his grandchildren; especially taking them on vacations to the beach and watching them play sports. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sally Vayansky; children, Scott (Michelle) Vayansky and Kimberly Dunne; grandchildren, Cameron (Noelle) and Megan Vayansky, and Molly Dunne; brother, Thomas (Lois) Vayansky; sister-in-law, Ann Vayansky; dog, Toby, many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in passing by his brother, Michael Vayansky. Family and friends may gather from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. A funeral service is to follow beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Immediately following, Ronald will be laid to rest at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens in Canal Winchester.
