Ronald Duda Sr., age 84, of Donora, PA, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital in Monongahela, PA.
He was born May 10, 1940 in N. Charleroi the son of the late Stephen Duda and the late Frances Wisniewski Duda.
He was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish.
Ronald was a member of the Polish Falcons, He was an avid bowler and belonged to the Polish Falcon and Jednota Bowling Leagues
In addition to his parents Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Betty Fernandez Duda; and a sister Barbara Patterson.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his sons, Robert (Bobbie) Duda and Ronald (Jamie) Duda Jr.; six grandchildren, Brooke Duda (Brett Prunty), Robert Duda Jr., Lily Griffin, Lucie Duda, Ellie Duda, and Owen Duda; and a brother Dr. James (Bonnie) Duda.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where friends will be received on Friday August 30 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian burial in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Donora Site.
Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
