Ronald L. Hinson
October 19, 1934 - February 22, 2026 (Age 91)
Ronald Lee Hinson, 91, peacefully entered his forever home in Heaven on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
Born in Rock Hill, South Carolina Ronald was the son of the late Hazel Hinson, and the late Jewel Sutton Hinson. He was also proceeded in death by six other siblings, as well as a son, Ronnie Hinson, Jr.
He was retired from Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company. He enjoyed everything about life whether it be building decks for friends and family to shopping at the thrift stores. He really enjoyed chocolate covered cherries and chocolate ice cream. His biggest passion was passing out chick tracts spreading the gospel and the love of Jesus Christ. He was a member and Trustee of Truth Independent Baptist Church.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Jennie Carol Hinson. His four daughters Kelly Penegar (Paul), Julie Ellis (Chris), Angela Pressley (Billy), Rachel Marlow and one son James Marlow (Annette). Twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, as well as his brother, Roddey Hinson and sister, Debra Hinson.
The family will receive and welcome friends from 1 PM to 2 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Greene Funeral Home North West Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, South Carolina. The service will be held following the visitation with Pastor Chris Ellis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ronald’s name to Truth Independent Baptist Church 5748 Wintercrest Lane Catawba SC 29704 to support the orphanage and missions programs that were dear to his heart.
