Ronald M. Park, Sr.

Ronald M. Park Sr., 90, of Greensburg passed away at home on Thursday, May 18, 2023. The son of the late Mac and Gladys Park of Clearfield Pa., Ron was a teacher for over 30 years in both the Clearfield Area and Hempfield Area School Districts. Ron was also the assistant baseball coach at Hempfield and was a decorated head wrestling coach at both districts. An inductee of the WPIAL coaches Hall of Fame, the Pennsylvania State Wrestling coaches Hall of Fame, and the National Amateur Wrestling coaches Hall of Fame, Ron dedicated his many years to helping young students succeed on the mat. Ron was also an avid gardener, jitterbug dancer, and fanatic of Pirates baseball. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert (Lela) Park of Niles, OH. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carole (Draper) Park; his children, Keith (JeanAnn) Park of Wheeling, WV, and Pamela Park Price of Greensburg; 8 grandchildren, Rory Park, Clint (Renee) Park, Kristopher (Elaine) Park, Kelly Park, Derek Park, Megan (Joe) Price-Gault, David Park, and L.D. Price. He also loved spending time with his great granddaughter Aria Rose Price-Gault and was the great grandfather of Kaylee, Aubriella, Colton, Kyler and Kasey Park. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg, PA 15601. Private interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
